Sally M. Searles, 66, passed away after a lengthy illness. She was born August 27, 1950 in Baldwinsville to Howard and Helen Schmidt Mills. Sally worked as a hairdresser in the '80s and for a number of recent years worked at McDonald's and Dunkin Donuts in Baldwinsville. She was a people person and was given the gift to gab. She enjoyed camping on Ontario Shores and traveling, but most of all, she enjoyed being with her family, grandchildren and her faithful companion, Sophie. Sally is predeceased by her first husband, James Deering. Sally is survived by her husband Larry Searles; her children John Deering and Jodi (Kent) Keysor; several grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; her sister, Beverly (Arnold) Schneider; and her extended families, the Harding's and McCarty's. Services are 6 pm Saturday, September 17 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are Saturday 3-6 pm at the funeral home.
