Obituary of Paul Herloski

Paul Herloski, 84, of Baldwinsville, passed away on Monday at Van Duyn. He was born in DeWitt, NY on January 27, 1932 to the late Kyzmar and Antonina Ruszczk Herlowski. Paul served in the Army and was a member of the Baldwinsville American Legion Post 113. Paul retired from Western Electric in Syracuse after 29 years and 6 months. He then worked for the Lakeshore Yacht & Country Club for 15 years. Paul was a very generous man and would donate his time or money to whomever or whatever the need. He was also a great story teller; he lit up when telling the stories of his past experiences and life growing up. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. Above all, his grandchildren were his world, he absolutely adored them all and ALWAYS made sure he had money in his pocket to give them. Paul is predeceased by his parents and daughter, Vicki Herloski. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ann Wohlfarth Herloski; children Robert (Betty) Herloski, Steven (Beverly) Herloski, Penny (Norman) Nelson, and Bill (Karen Converse) Herloski; grandchildren Jennifer, Elizabeth, Brittany, Steven Jr., Jessica, & Zachary; great-grandchildren Emma, Ava, Hadley, Brooklynn, Briana, & Trenton; sister Stella DeCoursey; brother Anthony Herlosky; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Thursday, August 25 from 4-7 pm at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Funeral service is 10 am Friday at the funeral home.
