Obituary of Lucas Leo Galloway

Please share a memory of Lucas to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lucas Leo Galloway, 3 months old, passed away Friday at Crouse Hospital. Lucas was born with Charge Syndrome, a life-threatening birth defect, and spent his life in the excellent care of Crouse Hospital NICU. He was a happy baby and even through all of his struggles, Lucas endured. He reminded the family of one of their favorite movie characters, Nemo. Because, like Nemo, he just kept swimming. Lucas is predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Deborah Fleming. Survived by his parents Ronald and Jessica Galloway; sister Isabella Ryerson; brother Christian Galloway; paternal grandparents Richard Galloway, Sr. of Sherrill and Shirley Benedict of Liverpool; maternal grandfather Frank Fleming of Baldwinsville; great-grandparents Mary Jean and Raymond Schafer of Camden; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and Godparents Alyse and Scott Knight. The family would like to thank the staff of Crouse Hospital NICU for the exceptional care provided to Lucas and a special thank you to the "Three Musketeers" – Cindy, Kerry, and Jessica. Calling hours are10-11 am Tuesday, August 9 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. Services will follow at 11 am at the funeral home.
