Obituary of Kenly B. Spilman

Kenly Spilman, 81, of South Daytona, passed away July 22, after a short illness. He was born in Fulton, NY, graduated from Gouverneur High School and Morrisville College. He lived his married life in Baldwinsville, NY, retiring to Florida in 1992. Kenly retired from the Teamsters Union Local 317 of Syracuse after more than thirty years. He was past Grand Knight of Council 5082, Baldwinsville, NY; Past President of Dixie Squares and the Granada Squares and he square danced all over the world. Kenly worked for 12 years at the LPGA and 7 years at Daytona and was Past President of Northeast Florida Golfers. He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and their thrift store truck driver for many years. On September 22, 1956, he married the love of his life Alice Neuroth and was looking forward to their 60th wedding anniversary. He is survived by his wife, Alice, sons Dale (Jody) and Eric, daughters Amy Robinson (Jack) and Ann, grandsons, Thomas and Kevin, who were the light of his life, brothers, David, Nick and Stan; sisters Barb and Roxy. He is predeceased by his son Paul and brother Carl. A Mass to celebrate his life will be 11 AM August 6 at the Church of the Epiphany, 201 Lafayette Street, Port Orange.
