Stan & I offer sincere condolences to the family and friends of Barbara Turner. I have ordered flowers many times for birthdays, special occasions and funerals but no one has ever asked me what my relationship was to the person I was sending flowers to as the young gentleman did after checking the obituary. I replied: “my daughter’s mother in-law, my son in-law’s mother & my grandchildren’s grandma”. He replied: “she was very special”. I then thought of all the special Rob’s Mom & Grandma Turner stories I had heard over the years. James, John & Anna always had a Grandma Turner story to tell me and most often it was what she had ready for them when they arrived – like 5 different kinds of cookies and apple sauce and pumpkin pie. She also taught them a lot from the time they were little. I can remember reading books to them and they told me I was not to turn back the page. When we have our family dinners it is Anna that gives us our instructions on how to set the table. She makes sure the plates are the right distance from the edge of the table as Grandma Turner taught her. Grandma Turner has been loved and will be missed, Eileen Cramton

Kathy, Sue, Marilyn, John, Bob and family, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. Our Moms were such good and close friends for so many decades. I love my memories of spending time with you all, picking berries and running around. I will be thinking of you so much, with love and prayers.
