I have so many memories of Uncle Edgar from childhood. Kim and I must have driven him and Aunt Jeanette crazy from sliding down the stairs on our behinds repeatedly to continually running to the big mud puddle in the front yard after Aunt Jeanette cleaned us up for the sixth time! I can still hear his voice telling us, "And DON'T go back to Jardines," to which we went directly to Jardines and 'swam' in the rainwater that had collected on the concrete. We lived for him to say, "Take this dime and run uptown and get the Pennysaver," and off we'd go to the Corner Pharmacy. I love my memories and I wish I could relive them all. My heart goes out to Kim and Mark and their families. Rest in Peace now, Uncle Edgar. <3
