So sorry to hear this news. Mr.McKee was a favorite teacher of mine and later a golf friend of my dad's at Ironwood. I got to know him a bit through Theatre Guild and enjoyed watching his performances, especially as Jud in Oklahoma! He was a sweet man and well-loved in our community. Rest in peace, Tom, and prayers go to the family during this sad time. Jo Ann Van Buren Bertollini.

So many fond memories of Mr. McKee. Thanks for sharing the slide show, and I'm so glad you all have such a legacy of love with him. I still remember hearing the opening strains of Oklahoma: "There's a bright golden haze on the meadow..." That was my introduction to the amazing voice of my dear English teacher, and I was smitten! Rest in peace, Mr. McKee!

Mr. McKee was my English teacher, and one of my most favorite. I loved English and his class was a safe haven in the sometimes scary and treacherous world that is middle school. Even now as a 40 year old- I can picture him walking with a bright orange text book under his arm. My thoughts are with his family and friends who will feel his loss always. To his kids- thank you for sharing him with SO many other children. He was very special.
Very fondly yours,
Beth Doran Pope
