Lela J. Duger Housel, 79, of Baldwinsville passed away Monday, January 18, 2016, at Syracuse Home At McHarrie Place. She was born in Syracuse and was raised and lived in Plainville many years prior to moving to Baldwinsville when she married John T. Housel. Lela was the bookkeeper when she and her husband owned Farrell Plumbing & Heating. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren, as well as, cooking, crafts, traveling and gaming. Lela was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Blanche Duger; her husband of 56 years John Housel and brother Lynus Duger. Survivors: her children, Cynthia (Michael) McGean of Phoenix, John (Laurie) Housel of Baldwinsville, Douglas (Cynthia) Housel of Fulton, Nancy (Ron Bush) Housel of Plainville and Lesley (Paul) Crockford of Virginia; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Yvonne Regan and Alice Osborne and brothers, Rev. Floyd Duger and Jerry Duger; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services: 10:00 am Friday, January 22, 2016, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville with burial, to follow in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-7pm Thursday, January 21, 2016, at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
