Diane Schulz Rice, 78 formerly of Baldwinsville, passed away Monday in Conshohocken, PA. Diane was born on May 13, 1937 in Syracuse the daughter of the late Charles and Adria Gaylord Schulz. She was in the Jaycees, Bal-on-Sen Triangles. She was a graduate of CW Baker High School in 1955 then graduated from Syracuse University in 1959. Diane had retired from the Baldwinsville School district after many years as an elementary teacher. After retirement she moved to Bradenton Florida for a number of years before moving to Pennsylvania to be closer to her family. Survived by her son: Peter Rice of Pennsylvania; daughter: Kim (John) Rice Lehet of Connecticut; sister: Sally (Barry) Crossman of Parish; 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 10 am in Falardeau Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held on Friday, January 22 from 4-7 pm at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Special Olympics, 2666 State Street, Suite #1 Hamden, CT 06517-2232 or Baldwinsville Community Scholarship Foundation Dollars For Scholars, P.O.
