Obituary of Robert F. Tondeur

Robert F. Tondeur, 88 of Baldwinsville passed away Saturday at Crouse Hospital. Robert was born in Syracuse on July 14, 1927 the son of the late Francis and Dorothy Connor Tondeur. He attended Most Holy Rosary until he was 17 when he joined the US Navy during WWII. Bob was a member of St. Augustine's Church, the Teamsters Union and the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member at Ironwood Golf Course and Seneca Golf Course. Bob was closer to God through devotion to Mary, Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal and he was a member of its Association. He worked as a painter and a greens keeper for a number of years and was a Driver for Roadway, after retirement, he became a security guard at McClain Northeast for a number of years. Bob was the owner of the Party Place in Fulton during the early 80's. Predeceased by his wife Patricia Kepler Tondeur in 1999; his son Michael Tondeur in 2009. Survived by his daughters: Lisa Thomas, Mary Ann Scheffer and Karen Canino; sons: Mark Tondeur and Andy Giamporcaro; daughter in law Leslee Tondeur and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 3 at 10:30 am at Falardeau Funeral home with A mass of Christian Burial in St. Augustine's Church, on O'Brien Road at 11 am. Burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Calling Hours will held on Wednesday, December 2 from 4-7pm at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville.
