Richard Henry Perkins 82, of Baldwinsville, NY. Died Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Syracuse Home. He and his wife, Joan Marie Borrow, were married at St. Mary's Assumption Church of Baldwinsville on November 15, 1958 and shared their love for over 56 years. He was the son of Richard H. and Evelyn Brown Perkins, born at home in Baldwinsville on January 08, 1933. Richard was a graduate of Baldwinsville Central School in 1951 participating in football, baseball and basketball all through his high school years. He was an employee of Morris Pumps Inc. later known as Gould's Pumps of Baldwinsville, for 45 years after having served in the U. S. Army. He was also a member of the Baldwinsville Volunteer Fire Dept. for over 60 years, Onondaga County Fireman's Assoc. and New York State Fireman's Assoc. He was a lifetime communicant of St. Mary's of Assumption Church in Baldwinsville. Richard and Joan had two children, son, William E. (Cathy Carney) Perkins and, daughter, Mary-Beth Perkins Valentine(fiance` Charles Wilhoit); four grandchildren, Ryan and Corey Perkins, Nathan and Derek Valentine; a sister, Ann Marie Perkins; brother, Thomas E. (Roxanne Cumm) Perkins; two nieces, Sarah and Jennifer Perkins of Baldwinsville. Funeral Mass at 10:00am Monday at St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St. Baldwinsville . Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery Baldwinville. Calling hours are 2-5pm Sunday at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Memorial contribution can be made to the Baldwinsville Volunteer Fire Department, 7911 Crego Road, Baldwinsville, NY 13027
