Arlene E Pientka, 89, of Baldwinsville passed away at home Thursday, June 11, 2015. She was born on November 27, 1925, in Syracuse. She worked as a Secretary at Liverpool School District Liverpool, NY. She was a great quilter and enjoyed knitting, sewing and gardening. Arlene was predeceased by her husband Walter P. Pientka in 2010 and her son Robert J. Pientka in 1990.
Survived by: daughter, Joanne "Babe" (Thomas) Meloling; son, William F. (Lori) Pientka; daughter in law Linda Pientka; brothers: Robert Boysman of Oswego and Gerald Boysman of Clay; grandchildren: Jeffrey (Jennifer) Meloling, Jodi (Joseph) Albero, Jeremy Meloling, Jennifer Grome, Dr. William F. (Amanda) Pientka II; 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am June 18, 2015 at Riverview Cemetery Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7pm Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
