Obituary of Robert S. Callaway

Robert S. Callaway, 84, of Mercer Street, Baldwinsville, died Tuesday. Born in Minneapolis, Minn., and graduated from the University of Minnesota. He retired in 1984 after 32 years as an engineer for Corning Glass in Corning. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. His wife, Jane M., died in 1998. Survivors: A daughter, Nancy J. Taylor of Baldwinsville; a son, Thomas S. of Westminster, Colo.; two sisters, Eleanor Olstad of Minneapolis and Ruth Gobershock of Mill Valley, Calif.; a brother, Samuel R. of Burr Ridge, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Church. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery. No calling hours. The Faldareau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville, has arrangements.
