Robert J. Audet, 88, of Syracuse died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Buckley Landing, N. Syracuse. He was born in Lewiston, ME where he lived most of his life. He retired in 1972 from Bath Iron Works after 27 years as a ship fitter. He then retired in 1984 as head of maintenance at Lewiston High School. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII, a life member of the American Legion Post #22 in Lewiston and also a member of the VFW Post #153 in Baldwinsville. Robert was a communicant of St. Augustine’s Church, Baldwinsville and was pre-deceased by his wife Jane M. Audet in 2005. The family would like to give special thanks to PACE of CNY and the Buckley Landing Staff. Survivors: a daughter, Suzanne Rapp and her life companion Terry Rosenbarker of Baldwinsville; a granddaughter, Kristine; a grandson, Robert; several nieces and nephews. Services: 10:00am Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at St. Augustine’s Church, Baldwinsville. Burial, Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Augusta, ME. Calling hours are 3-5pm Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville. Contributions: PACE of CNY, Sally Coyne Center for Independence, 100 Malta Lane, N.
