Obituary of Mary E. Glendenning

Mary E. Sheldon Glendenning, 78, of Baldwinsville passed away peacefully Monday, March 31, 2008. She was the devoted daughter of Thomas and Edith (Glasby) Sheldon. She was born in Fulton, NY and lived in Central New York for most of her life. Mary served in the Woman's Army Corp. during the Korean era and was employed with Nestle's in Fulton for many years. It was during this time that, as a single mother, she provided a loving home to her children while funding their college education. During her retirement she volunteered at the Syracuse Home Assoc. She is pre-deceased by her six brothers and sisters - Lillian Kelly, Robert Sheldon, Thomas Sheldon, Jr., Marguerite Button, John Sheldon and Theresa Dimmick. Her family would like to thank the wonderful people at Park Terrace and the Syracuse Home Assoc. in Baldwinsville who provided loving care for Mary in her later years, also, a special thanks to the caring people at Hospice of CNY who provided comfort to Mary and her family in her final days. Survivors: her son, Richard Caswell and his wife Judy of Marlborough, CT; her daughter, Suzan Sheldon of NY; her grandchildren, Nicholas and Christopher Caswell and Benjamin, Jennifer and Laura Robinson; several nieces and nephews. Services: at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville, on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 3:00 pm. Burial, Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton at the convenience of the family.
