Wayne County Master Gardener Volunteer Association - Goldsboro, North Carolina 27530 posted a condolence
Saturday, April 12, 2008
Please accept our sincere sympathy in the loss of your mother. She was very involved with the Wayne County Master Gardener Volunteer Association in Goldsboro, N.C.
We appreciated all the garden books that she donated to the Association library. She also painted several garden scenes on the walls of our master gardener hut that is used during our local County fair. This is a real legacy to our association. She was so welcoming and giving. She will be greatly missed.

Holly, Maribeth, Heather and family:
I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I really hoped to make the trip to Syr to see you all, but bad weather and a sick daughter kept me home.
I always enjoyed visiting your house when I was growing up because the atmosphere was so much more relaxed and warm than my house. I remember your mom working in her garden on the side of the driveway. She was so welcoming and friendly. Gosh! I miss the old days! Peace and Love,
Kim

Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of your Mom. She was always upbeat and so friendly. Though I didn't teach at Elizabeth Street School, I taught second grade at Elden and we often had meetings together. She was my mentor when I started teaching reading using the Distar method. I know she will be greatly missed by her family and friends but I also know that she has left wonderful memories that will comfort uou in the days ahead. I'm sorry that I was not able to attend her services but I'm in FL Sincerely, Phyllis

So many great memories and these will live in our hearts. To say good-bye, not today or forever. Some day soon we shall meet again and we will share once more the love of our family and maybe, once more, we will get up to the loft using the lawn mower and a pull from Art and a push from you.
