It's almost 5 yrs already & yet it seems like yesterday?
Thank you for all the wonderful childhood memories you gave me. Everything I do I think of you!
These next 2 months are never easy but I will always have the memories! My favorite: you "babysitting" me with the christmas tree lights on....all the house lights off...rocking on the couch with the Beach Boys!
I know in my heart that we will one day reunited!
I love you & miss you like crazy!!!!

I just put a huge shamrock Dickie'S grave and it shows up. ! any one that drives by will see it from a destance. Yes he is missed very much, and the hurt , pain, loss is huge still, but some how god gives us strength to go on and will slowly be less. putting things on the site and grave is wonder cause it shows LOVE from all that knew him..BUT remember one thing, he is reaaly not there, that is his shell, his dust from this world... his wonder soul and spirit is in a place where we will all meet again. HE WILL BE FOLLOWING ALL US... WHERE EVRY YOU GO You will feel him.

I wanted to post this message because there wasn't any recent message's posted...Even though monthes have passed, the death of my Dad hasn't got any easier, actually it has been quite harder than I expected. I miss him more than I can put into words. I never knew I could miss anyone as much as I miss my Dad. I am happy to see wreaths and flowers still being put by my Dad's grave and at the accident scene. He would be grateful that people care so much. I hope that the memory of him will continue in everyone who knew him. And if any of my family reads this...I hope you guys know that you all have been continuosly in my hearts and thoughts. I love you all more than I can put into words. Being with you all keeps the spirit, love, and thought of my Dad in my heart as if he was still with us. I LOVE YOU DADDY! Your baby girl.

Rich touched the lives of everyone he met, even those who only met him in passing. He made a profound impact on my life and I will never ever forget him. I miss him more and more with every day that passes. When he left us he took a peice of me with him and there will forever be a void that no other will ever fill. I can only hope that he knows how much he is loved. My sincere thanks to the Parker family for all of the love and support that they continue to give me (I love you all very much). Thanks to Joe & Sharon Kline and all of our friends. You have helped me get through the toughest, most stressful time in my life.

What if everyone we knew was as kind and caring as Rich? What if everyone we knew took the time to ask "are you okay?" the way he did? What if everyone we knew gave more of themselves than they took away?? I can still hear him talking , I can still hear his silly antics, all the jokes I could never remember to re-tell seem to have flooded into my mind all at once. There are not enough words, enough stories that could be made into books... they all end the same. It was fun. If I could give one small piece of comfort to anyone when it comes to Rich, and what he would like for us all to do with the time we have left here on earth,... Carpe Diem, Seize the day! Tonight it is foggy, and on one of my windows, the words "One Love" have emerged. Perhaps something was cooking on the stove one night, and he couldn't resist leaving his mark. Oh, he definitely left his mark... and I need to clean more often! :)

I found this online and I think this says what we all feel;
If We Could Bring You Back Again
If we could bring you back again,
For one more hour or day,
Wed express all our unspoken love;
Wed have countless things to say.
If we could bring you back again,
Wed say we treasured you,
And that your presence in our lives
Meant more than we ever knew.
If we could bring you back again,
To tell you what we should,
Youd know how much we miss you now,
And if we could, we would
We all know another angel now!
We miss you Rich! Godspeed to you

Uncle Rich
I know that I cannot see, or talk to you any more but I just want to let you know that I really do miss you! You were my 1 love Uncle and you will always be that way! I am glad that you are letting us be able to cope with the sadness that we have been feeling but I know that you will help us get over it!
The other day when we were in Syracuse we saw a homeless man standing on the side of the road by the exit for Carousel Mall and we gave him a quarter because you said to do that whenever we saw a person standing on the side of the road, and mom told him that she was Phess's lil sis and that you had gone to heaven and he said that he had heard a little about that and that the gut in the wheelchair knew you to. We couldn't find him but I think it might have been the guy you gave boots to.
I will never forget the peace sign and all the other wonderful memories. I will love you forever and always!
Peace out,
One Love
Amen!

I'm sorry for the Parker family.
I remember one time i was at rich's house, with his daughter sarah, and we were sitting around a fire. he pointed up at the sky and yelled "Look! Yoda's butthole!", and me, being the flake that i am, i immediately looked to where he was pointing. Needless to say, it was a hilarious moment, that more or less sums up the joy and laughter of his spirit.
and to Rich, I'll miss you, and I promise I'll do whatever i can to keep your baby rasta safe, and happy, and watch over her, as i know you are. i only ask, that you be with her in spirit on those days she needs you, like graduation, and her wedding. I know you'd want to be there.

The indication of a great soul touching ours is how that person made us feel when we were around them. For over 30 years, Rich has filled my heart with touching memories, so much laughter and love. Recently he was at my side sharing in tears and understanding; still remaining a pillar of strength for me. Our friendship was immediate, long and treasured.
Rich always showed me pictures of his children with such loving pride. His love for each of you evident in his beautiful smile and sparkling eyes as he spoke about who you are and what you have accomplished.
His greatness of spirit lives on forever in each of you.
The sadness of grief reaches into all our hearts and finds a love that runs very deep for Rich. I pray this love swells within the hearts of his family and friends bringing peace.

Edna, Chucky, David & family - I am shocked and saddened to hear the news about Dicky. (Sorry, he's always been 'Dicky' Parker to me. :-) He and Tommy Juno were the two I have the fondest memories growing up with. I will not forget the pool parties, fishin' at 'Frank's Pond,' snowmobiles, late night basketball in your driveway and parties in your garage. My friend Bob ran into Dicky this summer and called me w/ his cell phone. After I realized who he was, he had me laughing the entire time I was on the phone with him. I am so glad to have been able to talk to him one last time. My prayers and sympathy go out to you and your family. With Love, Lee p.s. Kudos to Tammy and her poem.

Rich and I shared a love of Dr Seuss so I thought it would be appropriate to write a poem for my friend.
This is my poem about my dear friend Phess
Truly why he left us well never know,I guess
He was always there every day with a smile and a yo
Anxious to help anyone anywhere he would go
Those great curls and that laugh he made everyone smile
A true friend for anyone he would go that extra mile.
With a guinness in hand, to him it was the only beer
He made friends of everyone, we all held him dear.
He and I both thought Dr Seuss was where it is at
But I could never top his tatoo of Cat in the Hat.
I hope hes looking down on us with God above
And gets to feel the true meaning of One Love
We love and miss you my friend
