I already miss my mother more than any words can possibly express. The loss of her to my entire family has been felt deeply by all. My memories of her are deeply cherished and will remain with me always. Her love for her family whether actual or extended was a gift from God and she was loved by all who knew her. She had a cheerful, generous spirit that was always present. She was truly supportive of her family throughout the years and took pride in all we have accomplished large or small. When my siblings and I were children, she would go without things she needed so that we would not have to go without things ourselves. She has been a surrogate mother to a great many of my (and my siblings) friends over the years. We will miss her greatly. Her loving son, Jay

Nora Pfeiffer was more than a neighbor, she was my second mother. Her spirit, stregth and sense of adventure made her very special. My memories of her are countless and treasured: playing cards ("Spit in the Ocean"); camping trips at Selkirk State Park; pizza on Saturday nights; trick or treating for blocks on end; garage sales; watching Yankee games; listening to Alice Cooper; Marx Brothers' movie marathons; Camp Fire meetings and Camp Talooli. Everything was accompanied by endless hours of laughter. She was truly a blessing in my life and she left a beautiful imprint on my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I am saddened to hear of your mom's passing. I have so many fond memories of her while growing up: hanging out in the kitchen, writing little fill-in-the-blank stories and going to the Fair every year so she could oogle the state troopers! She always had a smile, no matter what was going on. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
