I want to express my deepest sympathy to all of Mrs. Soutar's family and friends. I'm so sorry that I didn't attend the funeral services, because I just found about her death, Friday. She was a very exceptional LADY and A GREAT MOM to all her kids and to any kid that " hung around " the homestead on Canton street. She will truly be missed.
sincerely,
Charlie Hamm

Our heartfelt sympathy to the family of Madelin. I knew Madelin through my Aunt who was her cousin by marriage. She was one of the warmest and caring people I have ever met. With all of her heartaches in losing her husband and sons, you never heard her complain. She always reached out to everyone else and always had a big smile for you when you saw her. Rest in peace Madelin, you will always be rememberd as the sweet lady you were.

Madelin and I were neighbors and schoolmates at Our Lady of Pompeii and have remained close friends for 80 years, sharing the joys and trials that life brings. She wss my maid of honor when I married her cousin and the Godmother of our son. Lena was someone that could be trusted and depended on. Everything she did came from her heart. We will all miss her. May she be at peace.
