Edward J. Darmstedter, 84, of Greymoor Way, Baldwinsville, died Wednesday. Born in Lackawana, he lived in Holiday, Fla., for 20 years and moved to Baldwinsville in 1986. He was a security guard for Bethlehem Steel in Lackawana for more than 35 years. He was a member of Glab VFW Post in Lackawana and the VFW Post in Holiday. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors: His wife of 62 years, the former Bertha B. Lellto; a son, Bernard J. of Baldwinsville; a sister, Helen Kurek of Orchard Park; a brother, Zigmunt of Cheektowaga.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Church, Camillus. Burial, Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours, 5 to 8 p.m. today at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
