Velma Crook Renaud, 88, of Middletown, R.I., formerly of Baldwinsville, died Thursday. Born in Chisolm, Minn., she lived in Baldwinsville most of her life before moving to Middletown six years ago. She graduated from Baldwinsville Academy; Spencer Training School, Elmira; and State University College at Oswego. She retired in 1974 after 37½ years as a schoolteacher with the Baldwinsville Central School District. She was a member of the New York State Retired Teachers Association and the Baldwinsville Garden Club. Her husband, Charles A., died in 1985. Survivors: A daughter, Kathleen R. Luke of Portsmouth, R.I.; two grandchildren. Services: 3 p.m. Saturday at Falardeau Funeral Home. Burial, Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours, 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Contributions: Baldwinsville Community Scholarship Foundation, Box 88, Baldwinsville 13027.
