Obituary of Donald O. Kanar

Donald O. Kanar, 78, of Baldwinsville died Friday, May 5, 2006 at the home of his daughter in Memphis. He was born in Syracuse and lived in Baldwinsville most of his life. Don was a retired employee of General Electric Corp. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret in 2002; a son, James D. Kanar in 2000; a sister, Doris Cornelius and a brother, Arthur Kanar. Survivors: four daughters, Donna Kinder of Ohio, Debra Argese of Memphis, Karen Whitt of Kentucky and Cathy Perry of W. Virginia; a son, Daniel Kanar of Dryden; a sister, Evelyn Burrows of NY & FL; his twin brother, Douglas J. Kanar of Florida; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services: 9:00am Monday, May 8, 2006 at the Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours are 2-5pm Sunday, May 7, 2006 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
