William L. Denniston, 75, of Baldwinsville died Saturday, March 4, 2006 at his home following a long illness. He was born in Weedsport and moved to Baldwinsville in 1968. William retired in 1992 as a civil engineer for New York State for 42 years. He was a communicant of St. Augustines Church and a member of CSEA. William was an avid bowler and very family oriented.
Survivors: his wife of 43 years, the former Sharon F. Ashby; a daughter, Sandra L. (Linwood) Worrell of Keeseville; two sons, Roger A. (Susan) of Ashland, VA and Daniel C. (Colleen) of Baldwinsville; two sisters, June Hoffman of Buffalo and Elizabeth Barnes of Weedsport; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services: 9:15am Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at Falardeau Funeral Home and 10:00 am at St. Augustines Church. Spring burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Port Byron. Calling hours are 7-9pm Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
