Richard Bruntrager, 74, of Baldwinsville died Thursday, November 24, 2005 at his home. He was born in Philadelphia on 4/28/31, son of the late George & Katherine (Trende) Bruntrager. He was predeceased by brothers Joseph, George and sisters Kathryn and Claire. Richard was a veteran of the Korean War, serving as a Sr. Radio Operator, receiving a good conduct medal. He was of the Catholic faith. Richard was the long time owner of Rich-Lar Ind., Inc., which he founded in 1972. The successful business was sold in 1997 and although he retired in 2000, he remained involved in an advisory capacity. Survivors: his wife of 43 years, Annette E. (Ackles) Bruntrager; a brother, Robert of N. Wales, PA; sister-in-law and husband, Arlene & Jim Metzler; sister-in-law, Olinda Boggie; brother-in-law and wife, John & Linda Ackles; several nieces and nephews in the Philadelphia and Syracuse areas. Services and burial are private. Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville has charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to Hospice of CNY, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, NY 13088.
