Obituary of Gerald W. Stock

Gerald “Jake” W. Stock, 75, of Plainville died Friday, October 14, 2005 at his home. He was born in Sodus and has lived in Plainville for over 50 years. He was a graduate of Hannibal High School, a volunteer for the Plainville Fire Department and a Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He retired in 1986 after 30 years with the NY State Thruway. He was the last surviving child of 13 children. Survivors: his wife of 51 years, Shirley E.; four children, Michael Stock and wife Christy of Plainville, Mark Stock and wife Jacqueline of Contoocook, NH, Geraldine “Gerry” Briggs and her husband Scott of Fulton, Carrie Bartkowiak and husband Matthew of Plainville; 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services: 11:00am Monday, October 17, 2005 at Plainville Christian Church, Plainville. Burial, Plainville Cemetery. Calling hours are 3-7pm Sunday, October 16, 2005 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Contributions: St. Jude Children´s Hospital or the Plainville Christian Church.
