Gary F. Schrempf, 64, died Monday, March 21, 2005 at his home in Baldwinsville. Born in Syracuse, he graduated in 1958 from Onondaga Valley Academy and in 1962 from SUNY Cortland. He was a physical education teacher in Baldwinsville for 36 years, retiring in 1998. He coached Baldwinsville Men’s Gymnastics for 34 years. Gary spent the pas-t 28 summers working as the Director of Maintenance at Lourdes Camp. He was a member and Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary’s Church, Baldwinsville. Gary was an avid motorcycle and sports enthusiast. Survivors: his wife of 42 years, Margaret (Newell) Schrempf and five daughters, Tracy Melillo of Camillus, Meg (Randy) Green of Pittsford, Amanda (Owen) Peterson of Hawthorne, Molly (Timothy) Phelps of Baldwinsville, and Sara (Andrew) McLane of Camillus; two sisters, Linda (Dennis) Sweeney of Endicott and Therese (Richard) Geremski of Liverpool; one brother, Albert (Jeanne) Schrempf of Delmar; eleven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services: 9:30am Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville and 10:00am at St. Mary’s Church, Baldwinsville. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-8pm Monday, March 28, 2005 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St. Contributions: Hospice of CNY, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, NY 13088 or the American Cancer Society, 6700 Kirkville Rd., E. Syracuse, NY 13057.
