Dorothy M. Hopper, 89, of Syracuse died Thursday, March 10, 2005 at VanDuyn Home & Hospital. She was born in Ogdensburg and moved to the Syracuse area in 1940. Dorothy was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and one of the original members of the Senior Group. She wrote a weekly newsletter article in the Radisson news. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Earl A. Hopper in 1979. Survivors: two daughters, Ruth A. (James) Lauber of Solvay and Rita L. (Robert) Edwards of Baldwinsville; a son, Robert E. (Shirley) Hopper of West Monroe; two sisters, Pauline Williams of Syracuse and Jean Augliano of Black River; two brothers, Robert Kiah of Clayton and Harold Kiah of No. Syracuse; 8 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Services: 10:00am Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 3494 State Route 31, Baldwinsville. Spring burial, West Monroe Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-7pm Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St. Baldwinsville. Contributions: St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Building Fund.
