Douglas E. Blair, 75, of Baldwinsville died Thursday, January 6, 2005 at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Cassville, NY and lived in Syracuse area all of his life. Doug was a retired employee of Rollway Bearing and was previously employed for 17 years with Carrier Corp. He was a Marine veteran of the Korean War and a life member of the VFW. Doug was predeceased by his first wife Marion L. Blair in 1986 and a grandson, Daniel R. Bacheller in 2004. Survivors: his wife of 15 years, Anne M. Blair; two daughters, Becky Bacheller of ME and Janice Davis; two sons, Roger of FL and Jim of VA; three stepdaughters, Sharon Crandell, Susan Lamb and Nancy Claus; one stepson, Dennis Merryweather; two sisters, Janet Howe of NC and Shirley Duncan; a brother, Ben; 21 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Services: 11:00am Monday, January 10, 2005 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden. Calling hours are 2-5pm Saturday, January 8, 2005 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St. Contributions: in lieu of flowers to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital, St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN.
