Patsy Allen, 90, of Boyton Beach, FL, died Saturday, December 4, 2004 at Bethesda Hospital, Florida. He was the son of Michael and Mary Allen of Warners. Pat married Margaret Orvis of Baldwinsville where they lived and raised 5 children, they were married 52 years. He retired after 42 years of service with Crucible Steel. Very active in the Baldwinsville community, he was a member of the Board of Education for many years and served as president in 1957. Pat was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Baldwinsville. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret, July 6, 1989, a son, William “Bill” , Aug. 18, 1985 and a brother, Louis Allen of Warners. Survivors: a daughter, Anne Tyner and husband Don of Pennellville; three sons, Richard and wife, Joan of Leesburg, FL, John and wife Rita of Baldwinsville and Edward and wife Michelle of Weedsport; his companion of 14 years, Helen Sullivan and family; a sister, Madeline Guido and husband Frank of Mattydale; a sister-in-law, Kate Allen of Warners; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Services: 11:00am Saturday, December 18, 2004 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery. Contributions: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The family and loved ones of Pat want all to know: He was a true Gentleman in all the sense of the word. Wonderful son, brother, husband, father, friend and companion. He was loved so deeply and will be dearly missed.
