Floyd E. Wilmer, 75, of Baldwinsville died Friday, January 9, 2004 at University Hospital, Syracuse. He grew up in Split Rock and lived in the Syracuse area for almost 50 years. He was a member of the National Guard from 1949 to 1953. He once worked for Crucible Steel, was a bus driver for the Baldwinsville School District and worked for the Baldwinsville Sewer Dept. He retired from the Village of Baldwinsville Highway Dept. His wife of 53 years, Viola J. Wilmer passed away in 2000. Surviving are 5 daughters, Marilyn Tedd of Jordan, Therese Drumm of Liverpool, Barbara Wilmer of Baldwinsville, Deborah Huth of Cato and Connie Wilmer of Baldwinsville; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services: 7:00pm Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Spring burial at Kingdom Cemetery, Memphis. Calling hours are 5-7pm Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St. Contributions: Cayuga Home For Children Respite, PO Box 865, Auburn, NY 13021.
