Obituary of Leland E. Jones

Leland E. "Casey" Jones, 69, of Commane Rd, Baldwinsville died Monday, December 15, 2003 of Cancer. He was born in Mayfield, NY on May 27, 1934. He graduated from Mayfield High School in 1952 and CCBI Business School in 1953. He went to work for Denton Refractory Co. at 19 in the warehouse and retired after 44 years at 62 as Vice-President. He then worked for O'Brien And Gere Mfg. for 4 years and retired due to poor health. He was a member of the Baldwinsville Optimist Club, The Society of Casting Engineers, The Baldwinsville Rotary Club, The Industrial Management Assoc., Practical Politics, A.P. Green Contractor Installers of Missouri, The Baldwinsville Rod And Gun Club, Seneca Golf Club, Ironwood Golf Club, a teacher of Dale Carnegie and the McDonalds Coffee Club. Survivors: His wife of almost 50 years, Betty (Bedell); 4 sons, Richard and wife Pat of Nevada, their son Dustin and daughter Tiffany, Michael and his wife Theresa of Fulton and their daughters, Megan and Shannon, son John of Baldwinsville, daughter Stacey and sons Jeremy and Timothy, son James and wife Terri of Camden and daughters Jamilee, Nichole, Daquarie and son Garrison; two daughters, Debbie and husband Bob Chapman of Woodhall, daughter Glacia and son Shain, daughter Bonni and husband Michael Nelson of Baldwinsville and their son Casey; two brothers, Dennis of Canton and Gary of Arizona; an aunt, Naomi Rhodes of Northville and several cousins. Services: 11:00am Thursday at Falardeau Funeral Home, Inc. Baldwinsville. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
