Obituary of Ann C. Smith

Ann C. Smith, 83, of Tampa, FL, formerly of Syracuse and Baldwinsville, died at her home on Wednesday, August 27, 2003. Ann was a native of Millerville, AL. She attended business school in in Orlando, FL and worked for the Corp of Engineers in Tampa and Atlantic Coast Railroad in Orlando before coming to Syracuse in 1947. In Syracuse, Ann worked for Tom Duffy Travel and J. B. Rudolf Jewelers. She was an active member of Lafayette Ave. Methodist Church, the Brighton School Mother's Club and as a golfer and bowler. Ann relocated to Tampa with J. B. Rudolf in 1979, retiring in 1992. Ann was preceded in death by her husband Bernard in 1971 and a son Wayne in 1957. Surviving are a son, Alan Smith of Baldwinsville; a daughter Carol Ann Barnett of Millerville, AL; two gransdsons, Douglas Smith of Santa Fe, NM and Paul Smith of Manchester, NH; a sister, Nadine Batts of Orlando; two nieces and a nephew. Memorial Services: will be 10:00am Saturday, September 6, 2003 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
