Michael D. Linehan, 57, of Baldwinsville, died Monday, August 18, 2003 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was born in Somerville, MA and grew up in Bedford, MA. He was a 1963 graduate of Bedford High School and attended Bentley College in Waltham, MA. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, and worked as a Contracting Officer for the U.S. Airforce in Bedford, MA. He was a member of the Elk's in Billerica, MA, Lodge #2071 and was also a member of the Baldwinsville American Legion Post 113 and VFW Post 153. Mike was an avid golfer and bowler. He will be missed dearly by his surviving family including his wife of 3 years, Charlene R. Bixler Linehan; a daughter, Bridget A. Linehan-Ganley and 2 sons, Sean M. and Nathan R., all of MA; 2 step-daughters, Heather Bookman of Liverpool and Kimberly and her husband Christopher Schoemann of MI; one step-son, Marc and his wife Kimberly Bookman of Manlius; 5 grandchildren, Eric Ganley, Miranda Rose Bookman, Zachary James Bookman, Jasmine Schoemann and Sabrina Schoemann; his father and step-mother, John F. and Mary Alice Linehan of RI; 2 sisters, Catherine McEvilly of Port Crane, NY and Margaret Seekamp of NC; 3 brothers, John Linehan, Jr. of CA, Daniel Linehan of NM and George Linehan of NH; Services: 8:00 pm, Thursday, August 21, 2003 following calling hours at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial will be private. Calling hours are 2-4 & 6-8pm Thursday at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
