Lawrence E. Long 94, of Village Green in Baldwinsville, died Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at Loretto Nursing Home. He was born in Solvay and lived in the Syracuse area most of his life. He worked for Kelly's Home Delivery Baked Goods for 10 years before working as a Milkman at Dairylea in Syracuse for 25 years, retiring in 1972. He was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church, Baldwinsville and a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Syracuse Council #191. He was also a member of the Riverside Golf Club in Brewerton. He and his wife spent 23 winters in Deerfield Beach, Fl. He is pre-deceased by his wife Helen V. Long who passed away in 2002. Survivors: Two sons, John E. and his wife Gisela Long and David M. and his wife Marcia Long both of Syracuse; one sister, Margaret Long of Syracuse; one brother, Richard Long of Auburn; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Services: 9:00am Friday, May 9, 2003 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville and 9:30am at St. Augustine's Church, Baldwinsville. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours 4-7pm Thursday, May 8, 2003 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street. Contributions: St. Augustines Church, 7333 O'Brien Road, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
