Douglas L. Watkins, Sr. 56, of Baldwinsville died Thursday, May 1, 2003 at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Washington, DC and lived in Camillus from 1972 until moving to Baldwinsville in 1988. He played baseball for the Pittsburg Pirates for two seasons, was an Army Veteran of Vietnam and was employed for 30 years with UPS.
Survivors: Wife of 16 years, Joan Watkins of Baldwinsville; son, Douglas L. (Tammy) Watkins, Jr. of Marcellus; stepson, Zachary Epling of Baldwinsville; brother, David R. Watkins Cheverly, MD; a grandson Colton L. Watkins of Marcellus; 2 nieces and 3 nephews.
Calling hours: 4-7pm Saturday, May 3, 2003 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Burial in Arlington National Cemetery Cemeteries.
