Norma M. Harkins Mills, 73, of Oak Ridge, Tenn., died Thursday, January 30, 2003. Born in Syracuse, she lived in Elmira before returning to Syracuse and then to Oak Ridge 10 years ago. She graduated in 1948from Baldwinsville Academy and in 1951 from Syracuse General Hospital School of Nursing. She was a nurse in the labor and delivery wards at several area hospitals. She was a former member of Elmira First Presbyterian Church, the Seneca Power Squadron and the Elmira Parent Teacher Association. She also was a former Girl Scout leader in Elmira. Her husband, Dr. John W., died in 1986. Survivors: Two daughters, Leslie Lane and husband Michael of Baldwinsville and Linda Montierth and husband Don of Oak Ridge; two sons, William Mills and wife Mary of Oak Ridge and Wesley Mills and wife Gretchen of Victor, NY; two sist-in-laws, Helen Harkins of Auburn and Louise Harkins of Baldwinsville; 13 grandchildren, Daniel Brooks of Knoxville, Evan Brooks, John Mills, Bryan Mills, Eric Montierth, Andy Montierth, Stephen Montierth, Sarah Montierth and Megan Montierth - all of Oak Ridge, Chris Lane and Sam Lane of Baldwinsville, Jeffrey Mills and Christy Mills of Victor, NY. Services: 3 p.m. Monday at Falardeau Funeral Home. Burial, Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hour, 2 to 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
