Obituary of Robert J. Gamage

Robert J. Gamage, 73, of Appleridge Road, Baldwinsville, died Sunday, January 19, 2003 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse. Born in Watertown, he moved to Baldwinsville in 1965. He was a 1953 graduate of Clarkson University in Potsdam and worked for Agricultural Insurance Co. in Watertown for 10 years. He retired in 1985 as an Insurance Representative for Continental Insurance Co. in Syracuse after 20 years. Mr. Gamage was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Baldwinsville and was also an avid golfer and sportsman. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, the former Barbara J. Joyce; one daughter, Karen R. Blair of Pennellville; one son, Kevin R. Gamage of Nedrow; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services are 7:00 pm Wednesday, January 22, 2003 at Falardeau Funeral Home. Spring burial will be at North Watertown Cemetery, Watertown. Calling hours are 2 - 4 and 6 - 7 pm Wednesday, January 22, 2003 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street. Contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 17 W.
