William A. Archambeau, 79, of Connors Road, Baldwinsville, died Tuesday, December 17, 2002. Born in Clinton, he lived in Liverpool most of his life before moving to Baldwinsville two years ago. He graduated from Vocational High School, Syracuse. He was a toolmaker at Lipe Rollway Corp. in Syracuse for 32 years. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville, a fourth-degree member of Knights of Columbus Council 3717 and a member of the American Legion. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. His first wife, Elaine J., died in 2000. Survivors: His wife of two years, Eileen Hawthorne; a daughter, Linda A. Pelligra of North Syracuse; two sons, William A. Jr. of Clay and John J. of Syracuse; four stepdaughters, Barbara A. Russett, Diane L. Colon and Marlene M. Greenwood, all of Baldwinsville, and Mary A. O'Brien of Syracuse; a stepson, Richard J. Hawthorne of Baldwinsville; a sister, Lola Martina of Syracuse; a brother, Howard of Syracuse; six grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Services: 9:30 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 2002 at Falardeau Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church. Burial, Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours, 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2002 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Contributions: American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons St., Box 7, East Syracuse 13057.
