James W. Slattery, 42, of Van Buren died Monday, December 2, 2002. Born in Syracuse, he lived in the Baldwinsville and Warners area most of his life. He graduated from West Genesee High School and Onondaga Community College. He was a self-employed contractor and had worked previously for Coca-Cola and Allied Chemical Co.
Survivors: A daughter, Ashley Slattery of Pennellville; his parents, William J. and Shirley J. Fleming Slattery of Warners; two sisters, Dorothy Slattery of Mattydale and Deborah Layman of Cato; his maternal grandmother, Pearl Thayer of Baldwinsville.
Services: 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2002 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial, Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. Calling hours, 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2002, at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
