Rudolph R. ''Rudy'' Schneider, 83, of Baldwinsville died Wednesday at Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Born in Sandy Creek, he graduated from Oswego High School and received an electrical engineering degree from University College of Syracuse University. He retired in 1980 as vice president of electrical production after 43 years with Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. He was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church, Baldwinsville, and a member of Pastime Athletic Club, Liverpool Elks Club, Baldwinsville Moose Lodge and Liverpool L.A.C.E. Dance Club. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: His wife, Evelyn; three daughters, Mary Lou Mitchell of Liverpool, Jane A. Gomer of Arkansas and Jean A. Buckley of East Syracuse; three sons, Rudolph R. Jr. of Manlius, Andrew J. of Arizona and Dennis C. of Liverpool; three sisters, Katie Schneider and Helen VonHoltz, both of Oswego, and Peggy Eron of Camillus; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Augustine's Church. Burial, St. Peter's Cemetery, Oswego. Calling hours, 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at the church, 7333 O'Brien Road, Baldwinsville. Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville, has arrangements. Contributions: Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Irving Avenue, Syracuse 13210.
