Jane A. Lawson Urschel, 73, of Reeves Road, Baldwinsville, died Saturday, August 24, 2002. Born in Buffalo, she resided in the Baldwinsville area 60 years. She retired in 1994 as an executive secretary for the Baldwinsville School District after 22 years. She was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church, Baldwinsville. Survivors: Her husband of 50 years, Richard N.; three daughters, Lynn U. Hyman of Kingston, Wash., Kathleen M. Urschel of Baldwinsville and Maryjo Swizdor of Syracuse; two sons, Richard M. of Louisville, Ky., and Randy P. of Buffalo; a sister, Charlotte Lee Whaley of Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; seven grandchildren. Services: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at Falardeau Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in St. Augustine's Church. Burial, Phoenix Rural Cemetery. Calling hours, 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2002 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Contributions: Freedom Guide Dogs, 1210 Hardscrabble Road, Cassville, NY 13318.
