Eva M. Besig Curtis, 82, of Baldwinsville died Friday, August 2, 2002. Born in Syracuse, she lived 48 years in Baldwinsville. She retired in 1978 after 29 years as an inspector at Rollway Bearing. She retired in 1978 after 29 years as an inspector at Rollway Bearing. She was a member of the 20-year Club at Rollway Bearing and Women of the Moose Chapter 649, Baldwinsville. Her husband, James W. Curtis, died in 1982; a son, Robert I. Cooper, died in 1984.
Survivors: Five grandsons, James Cooper of Canastota, Gary and Robert Cooper of West Monroe and Milton and Curtis Cooper, both of Baldwinsville; two granddaughters, including Sherri Dewhurst of Cicero; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2002 at Falardeau Funeral Home. Burial, Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay. Calling hours, 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2002 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
