My sorrow is deep for you both. Please contact me when you are ready. My father has been ill and I was not focused. I am sorry that I could not have been there with you. Becky Palmer, B104.7

steve went from being a childhood aquaintance around westcott st to a drinking buddy at the big-o and a customer at lee's and later a drinking buddy at danzer's. i remember he didn't like to be messed with but if you wanted to carry on an intellegent conversation he was all ears. people at lee's liked to call him "wolfman" because of the scary hair. don't know that he liked the nickname but he rolled w/ it. mary, i met you briefly @ danzer's many moons ago, as we discovered we were neighbors (i lived in ivy ridge at the time.) i remember you both speaking very fondly of your son and his prowess at target shooting. i'll remember steve in his white butchers coat at peter's, and i remember brother bob being irreverent in miss peters art class. he was good at making people laugh. so now steve is gone to join bear, braden, flip, charlie, curly and the rest of the gang that passed way too early. my deepest sympathy. eddie cottet

To Steve Hendel's Wife, Son & extended Family - We share in your sorrow at this time. My husband and I met Steve when we would shop at Peter's - He was always pleasant and personable. He'd make us laugh at times. It seems he's too young to pass. Our deepest sympathies, condolences and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.
