Obituary of Christine Elizabeth Brais

Christine Owen Brais, 49, of Baldwinsville passed away peacefully at home, comforted by her devoted family and friends. She was born in Syracuse the daughter of David and Judith Taylor Owen. Christine, was a 1984 graduate of Marcellus High School and resided in Marcellus and Baldwinsville. She worked Onondaga County Clerk's Office for 14 years. She enjoyed: camping, dancing, Nascar (especially Jeff Gordon) lobster bakes, and helping her favorite DJ, Corey. She was predeceased by her father, David Owen; brother, David Jr.; nephew, Robert Somerville. Survived by her loving husband of almost 30 years, Corey Brais; mother, Judith Owen; sister, Michelle (Kevin) Lester; brother, Joseph Owen; sister in law, Robin (Neil) St. Andrews; brother in law, Greg (Tina) Brais; aunt Linda Taylor. Several nieces and nephews, kitties Sissy and Shiloh. Calling hours were be held on Sunday, March 1, from 4 - 7pm at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, with a Memorial Service at 7pm. A Graveside service will be held on June 27, 2015 at 1pm in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Marcellus.
