Edward J. “Easy” Ryder, 67, of Baldwinsville passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 21, 2015. He was born in Syracuse and lived in Baldwinsville most of his life. Easy was a graduate of Baker High School, served in the US Army from 1966-70 and retired from Penn Traffic Corp. in 2009 after 30 years of service. An avid golfer, he was a member of Ironwood Golf Club. He also enjoyed fishing, playing cards and did we mention he was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Julie Compton Ryder; his son, E. J Ryder III of Rochester; his sisters, Linda (Donald) Edmonston of Baldwinsville and Evelyn (Dale) Hulbert of Amsterdam; an uncle; two aunts; several nieces and nephews and a “little brother” Ed (Terri) Burtis Calling hours are 4:00pm – 8:00pm Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
