Virginia P. Bullis, 98 of Baldwinsville, formerly of Malone NY and Albany, passed away peacefully at home on January 26, 2015. She was born on July 29, 1916 at home in Oxford Depot NY to Lester I. and Caroline (LaBaugh) Parker. She graduated from Pine Bush High School and the Drew Seminary for Young Women in Carmel NY majoring in business and music. Virginia was a dedicated wife and mother, and friend and mentor to many. She was an accomplished singer and sang in church choirs in both Malone and Guilderland and also for weddings and other events. Virginia greatly enjoyed family and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved needlepoint, crocheting and communicating with friends and relatives. When not writing cards Virginia could be found working on an afghan or a lap blanket for a disabled veteran. She loved children and greatly enjoyed working at the Learning Tree Pre-School in Guilderland. All who knew her would agree that she was ever the proper lady. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her Husband of 57 years Floyd H Bullis; brother Lester Parker; sister, Angelie Parker; niece Judy Fay Parker; and great-granddaughter Olivia Grace Bullis. She is survived by sons; F. Ronald (Mary) Bullis of Clearwater FL, Barry (Alyce) Bullis of Baldwinsville, Kevin (Terry) Bullis of Dushore PA, and daughter Bettyan (Mark) Rinefierd of Liverpool; ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no calling hours. Services will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Guilderland, in the spring. The family wishes to thank Mobil-Med services, the Visiting Nurses Association and a special thanks to Hospice of CNY for all their help and support.
