My sincere condolences to Doug's widow, children and extended family. I was a B'ville CS employee. I am grateful that Doug stopped by my Baker HS classroom 52 years ago to sell me life insurance. Then when we moved to Marcellus, my experience with Doug had been so positive, that I bought a second policy. I am so sorry about Doug's death, and moreso because of the progressive agony of ALS. He was an easy person to love, and I can only smile imagining he was surrounded by family he loved deeply.
