Bernard (Bill) Earl Hourihan, Jr., 83, passed away January 2, 2015 with his wife and daughters by his side. Bill was born and raised and remained a lifetime resident of Baldwinsville, NY and after retiring he and his wife spent many winters in Summerfield, FL. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Gloria Disotelle Hourihan, daughters, Patricia Trudell (Chuck), Katherine Hourihan, Debora Tamblin (Raymond), and Christine Probst (Mark), 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, a brother, Robert Hourihan and a sister, Elizabeth Mandigo. He is predeceased by his son, Michael Earl Hourihan, his parents, Bernard E. Hourihan Sr. and Winifred Savage Hourihan, sisters, Margaret Zepperi and Dorothy Cashman, and a brother, John Hourihan. Bill was a lifetime member of St. Mary's Church, as well as the Baldwinsville Knights of Columbus. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, retired from BP Oil Company, owner of Hourihan & Son Plumbing & Heating and Hourihan Fuel Service. He built 4 homes for his family and renovated many others. Calling hours will be Monday, January 5th from 4-7 p.m. at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, January 6th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville. Lunch reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can made to the Alzheimer's Association of CNY, 441 West Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
