James J. Carrigan, 68, of Blanchard Boulevard, Seneca Knolls, died Monday at home. Born in Bridgeport, Conn., he lived in the Syracuse area most of his life. He retired in 1985 after 25 years as a mechanical engineer for Syroco in Baldwinsville. He was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church and a member of American Legion Post 113, Baldwinsville. He served in the Army from 1952 to 1954. Survivors: His wife, Audrey R. Fountain-Carrigan; three daughters, Kathryn Wellman of Mattydale, Linda Frawley of Phoenix and Patricia Smith of Roanoke, Va.; a son, James of Roanoke; a stepdaughter, Lois Holland of Baldwinsville; two sisters, Kitty Grasso of Fairfield, Conn., and Virginia Hebert of Nova Scotia; a brother, Robert of Bridgeport; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services: 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Augustine's Church. Spring burial, Belle Isle Cemetery, Camillus. Calling hours, 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Contributions: St. Augustine's Church, O'Brien Road, Baldwinsville 13027.
