I am saddened to read of my friend, Bob Littau's passing. For years, I was Bob & Betty's Deacon with UCC in Bayberry (they were members of my Care Group). I used to take the recordings of each week's sermon to their home,and we spent many happy hours together through the years. I used to leave their home, more enriched in my religious beliefs, as they shared their life's experiences with me! (they were such a neat couple). When I was a switchboard operator at Community General Hospital...I'd often receive a call from their room, to stop by for a visit, as one or both of them were there. They looked forward to my visits at home, as I used to take them some goodies, (they especially enjoyed my homemade apple pies), made with Splenda for Betty! From time to time, I used to call Bob after Betty's passing, and we always enjoyed our talks. R.I.P. Bob...My love and prayers to both you and Betty and your anticipated reunion with her!
